Section Information

Gastrointestinal (GI) cancers, which include cancers of the esophagus, stomach, liver, pancreas and colorectum, account for significant cancer-related morbidity and mortality. In recent years, there have been remarkable advances aimed at improving the understanding, diagnosis and management of GI cancers. This section of Current Oncology aims to highlight the latest research on advances in GI cancers and welcomes original and review articles covering the spectrum from prevention and diagnosis to treatment and supportive care.
