Canadian Association of General Practitioners in Oncology (CAGPO-ACMOO)
CAGPO is a national organization serving the educational needs of General Practitioners in Oncology (GPO). GPOs are physicians that work in regional cancer centres and community clinics providing oncology care to patients with a cancer diagnosis. They work with medical, hematological, surgical, gynecological and radiation oncologists. GPOs provide inpatient and outpatient care to patients receiving treatment with both curative and palliative intent. CAGPO-ACMOO strives to support GPOs by providing high-quality medical conferences designed to meet the educational needs of GPOs and awards scholarships to encourage physicians to enhance their oncology knowledge. Canadian Association of Medical Oncologists (CAMO)
The Canadian Association of Medical Oncologists, a national specialty society of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, will contribute to cancer control, through research, education, and clinical practice in prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, supportive care, palliative care and rehabilitation.
The Association is committed to achieving and maintaining, among its members, excellence in clinical and scholarly activity, within a culture of compassion and respect for human dignity.
Canadian Association of Psychosocial Oncology (CAPO - ACOP)
The Canadian Association of Psychosocial Oncology (CAPO) is an organization of professionals, clinicians, researchers, educators, and others dedicated to the understanding, treatment and study of the social, psychological, emotional, spiritual and quality-of-life aspects of cancer. CAPO leads nationally and globally in promoting capacity for, and excellence in psychosocial oncology services to enhance the wellness of individuals and families. The purpose of the CAPO is to foster and encourage interdisciplinary excellence in psychosocial research education and clinical practice in oncology.
Goals across the continuum of cancer care and control:
- Provide a sustained, national network for the exchange of ideas among clinicians, researchers, educators, Community Based Organizations, administrators, policy makers and other stakeholders;
- Actively foster and encourage interprofessional, inter-sectoral, and political collaboration in psychosocial care and services;
- Establish and promote excellence through the development of standards, practice guidelines, and service integration strategies;
- Promote and encourage excellence in psychosocial research and knowledge translation;
- Provide and promote ongoing educational programs and resources;
- Provide expert advice, leadership, and advocacy to ensure access to psychosocial care and services.

Canadian Centre for Applied Research in Cancer Control (ARCC)
The Canadian Centre for Applied Research in Cancer Control (ARCC) is an innovative pan-Canadian research centre whose mission is to improve cancer control and the delivery of care through interdisciplinary leadership in health economics, services, policy, and ethics research, education and knowledge translation.
We achieve our mission by making improvement across the cancer control spectrum, from prevention, screening and diagnosis to treatment, rehabilitation, survivorship or palliative care. Cell Therapy Transplant Canada (CTTC, formerly CBMTG) is a member-led, national, multidisciplinary organization providing leadership and promoting excellence in patient care, research and education in the field of hematopoietic stem cell transplant and cellular therapy.
CTTC brings together the clinicians, research scientists, cellular therapy technologists, pharmacists, nurses, patients, caregivers, industry partners and supporters to collaborate and advance the field across Canada and beyond. Society of Gynecologic Oncology of Canada (GOC)
The Society of Gynecologic Oncology of Canada (GOC) is a national organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals affected by or at risk of gynecologic cancers. Its mission focuses on enhancing standards of care, inspiring research, promoting prevention strategies, and advancing treatment solutions.
