Biological Factors
A section of Biomolecules (ISSN 2218-273X).
Section Information
Biological factors play a fundamental role in shaping physiological functions, disease development, and stress responses. The Section “Biological Factors” in the journal Biomolecules focuses on articles that examine endogenous or environmental factors influencing the function of cells and organisms in health and disease.
This Section invites and publishes original contributions, reviews, and discovery articles that include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Cytokines;
- Chemokines;
- Growth factors;
- Hypoxia-inducible factors;
- Neurotransmitters and receptors;
- Transcription factors;
- Hormones;
- Factors involved in redox signaling;
- Nutritional factors.
