Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The Special Issue aims to achieve a broad coverage of all related aspects of low-latency and reliable networking, from its associated algorithms, optimization, modelling, applications, etc. As a core technology supporting key fields such as autonomous driving, industrial control, and financial transactions, low-latency and reliable networking (LLRN) boasts extremely broad application prospects. However, it still faces numerous technical challenges. For instance, the strict constraints of low latency and high reliability often have inherent conflicts with indicators like bandwidth efficiency and energy consumption. How can we achieve dynamic balance among multiple objectives? Traditional centralized architectures and static resource allocation cannot meet the dynamic and heterogeneous requirements of LLRN. Therefore, this Special Issue investigates how to realize architectural reconstruction and intelligent scheduling. To promote the development and application of LLRN technology, this Special Issue focuses on the algorithms, optimization, and applications of LLRN.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. Applied System Innovation is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
