Croatian Pharmacological Society (CPS)
The Croatian Pharmacological Society is today's umbrella organization for pharmacology in Croatia.
The society promotes scientific and professional development in the field of pharmacology, organizes pharmacological congresses, supports activities aimed at the certification and recognition of the profession in this country, and puts considerable effort into improvements of the education of pharmacologists as well as the popularization of the profession among undergraduate students in the biomedical fields.
Northern Greek Society of Medical Biopathology (EIBBE)
The Northern Greek Society of Medical Biopathology (ΕΤΑΙΡΕΙΑ ΙΑΤΡΙΚΗΣ ΒΙΟΠΑΘΟΛΟΓΙΑΣ ΒΟΡΕΙΟΥ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ - EIBBE) is a scientific society of medical biopathologists from northern Greece. Medical biopathology/laboratory medicine is a specialty that combines clinical knowledge and laboratory analyses in microbiology, hematology, biochemistry, and immunology to diagnose, prognosticate, and monitor diseases. Medical biopathologists play a key role in the diagnostic process, using modern tools and protocols. The purpose of EIBBE is to promote all branches of medical biopathology/laboratory medicine through scientific means, to advance the field, and to safeguard the professional rights of its members. This purpose is achieved through the organization of seminars, scientific presentations and lectures, the publication of scientific material, and the submission of proposals to improve the training of residents and the continuing education of specialists.
