Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Nowadays, industries are concerned about the negative environmental impacts of supply chain management, which raises serious concerns about climate change. Thus, the supply chain faces several challenges in mitigating the factors that affect environmental degradation. The objective of this Special Issue is to find innovative possible solutions that can minimize the challenges of the supply chain and achieve sustainable supply chain management with proper integration. Using raw materials, spare parts, product design and management, waste product management, energy, technology, and policies impacts sustainable supply chain management. Each of these processes, and other related processes of the supply chain, faces several challenges to moderate and improve in a sustainable way. Besides, a tendency is growing in industry sectors where consumers and investors also prefer ideas and working principles that are environmentally responsible for growth and profitability in a sustainable way. Thus, integrating innovation and supply chain challenges can bring new solutions for sustainable supply chain management.
This Special Issue aims to consolidate innovative opportunities and approaches for sustainable supply chain management to eliminate supply chain challenges. We welcome original research articles, models, case studies, empirical studies, state-of-the-art works, and insights that have actual merit to achieve sustainable supply chain practices.
