Horticultural Science and Ornamental Plants
A section of Plants (ISSN 2223-7747).
Section Information
The Horticultural Science and Ornamental Plants Section of the Plants journal aims to publish original research and timely review articles on all aspects of horticultural plant species, including fruit, vegetable, ornamental, and medicinal plants. Researchers are strongly encouraged to publish theoretical and experimental findings, basic or applied in nature, involving aforementioned plants.
This Section will publish review articles, regular research articles, communications, and short notes describing the latest advances in specific areas of horticultural and ornamental plants. In particular (but not exclusively), this Section welcomes contributions on the following aspects of horticultural and ornamental plants:
Molecular regulation of plant senescence and associated genes;
Genetics, genomics, breeding, and biotechnology;
Physiology, biochemistry, and metabolism;
Interactions with pests and pathogens;
Postharvest physiology;
Nutritional and phytochemical composition;
Response to abiotic stresses and climate change;
Plant domestication and cultivation.
The Editorial Board will review all submitted manuscripts.
