Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Personalized medicine is transforming the way in which we identify, develop, and implement therapeutic solutions tailored to the individual characteristics of each patient. In recent years, personalized pharmacy and advanced pharmaceutical technologies have played a central role in this transformation by enabling the customization of dosage forms, dosing regimens, and therapeutic approaches through modern scientific and technological innovations, including 3D/4D printing, precision drug delivery systems, bioprinting, and digital health solutions. We invite you to contribute to this Special Issue, dedicated to exploring the integration of precision medicine, personalized pharmacy, and contemporary pharmaceutical science.
This Special Issue will present the latest scientific developments, technological innovations, and applied models that accelerate the implementation of personalized medicine within pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical sciences. The topic lies fully within the scope of the journal, bringing together research from pharmaceutical technology, drug formulation, clinical pharmacy, digital pharmacy, pharmacogenomics, biomaterials, and strategies for implementing personalized therapeutic solutions and pharmaceutical care in real-world practice. Our goal is to compile at least 10 high-quality articles that provide a comprehensive scientific overview of the current state of the art and future perspectives in this evolving field.
This Special Issue welcomes original research articles, reviews, and short communications. Potential areas of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Personalized dosage forms and individualized dosing;
- Three- and four-dimensional printing in personalized pharmacy;
- Bioprinting and tissue applications in pharmaceutics;
- Precision drug delivery systems and nanotechnologies;
- Pharmacogenomics and individualized therapy;
- Digital technologies and AI in personalized pharmacy;
- Integration of personalized medicine/pharmacy into pharmacy practice;
- Education models and competencies for personalized pharmacy;
- Regulatory and ethical challenges;
- Clinical and real-world data supporting personalized therapeutic strategies;
- Personalized pharmaceutical care.
We look forward to receiving your valuable contributions.
