Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The Singapore Bioimaging Consortium and Select Biosciences South East Asia present the Clinical Applications of Stem Cells (http://selectbiosciences.com/conferences/index.aspx?
conf=CASC2015), taking place on the 26–27 February at Academia, Singapore General Hospital.

We will bring together researchers and clinicians focusing on translating basic discoveries in the stem cells field into applications for regenerative medicine and cellular therapy. We will also be looking specifically into how the global regulatory agencies view the translational efforts.

The meeting will run over two full days, with presentations from clinicians, regulatory bodies, academia and industry, leading into panel discussions each afternoon to cover the points raised during the earlier sessions. There will also be a complimentary evening reception on the opening day which will be held at the Hotel Fort Canning hosted by Professor Minoru Ueda and the Japan Foundation for Preemptive Medicine.

The Journal of Clinical Medicine is setting up a special issue on “Selected Papers from the Clinical Applications of Stem Cells” which will cover the main highlights presented in the conference.
