Aims

The Gastroenterology Insights section, Liver, is an international, peer-reviewed scientific open access journal focused on fundamental themes regarding the study of the liver and liver diseases. Our aim is to create a platform for clinicians and scientists to publish their results, from experimental to clinical studies, in a venue that helps broadly disseminate this information. There is no restriction on the length of papers.

Scope

This section of the journal covers all aspect of liver and liver-related investigations. Research fields of interest include but are not limited to:

• Hepatitis;
• Chronic liver disease;
• Acute liver failure;
• Biliary disease;
• Hepatic neoplasms;
• Transplantation;
• Cell therapies.
