Young Investigator Award
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce that the winner of the Electronics 2022 Young Investigator Award is Dr. Houqiang Fu.
Dr. Houqiang Fu is an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering, Arizona State University, Tempe, USA. Dr. Houqiang Fu’s research interests are wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconductors, devices, and systems, including power electronics and ICs, HEMTs, extreme-environment devices, optoelectronics, photonics, MOCVD growth, and reliability and failure analysis. Dr. Houqiang Fu received his PhD in 2019 and has an outstanding publication record, comprising more than 90 publications in peer-reviewed international journals, which have been collectively cited more than 1600 times (Hirsch index of 25). Dr. Houqiang Fu has been the recipient of several academic prizes, including ISU Regents Innovation Fund Award, ASU Palais Outstanding Doctoral Award, and ASU Outstanding Research Award. This is an outstanding achievement in today’s competitive environment. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Houqiang Fu for his outstanding achievements.
As the awardee, Dr. Houqiang Fu will receive an honorarium of CHF 2000, an offer to publish a paper free of charge before the end of June 2023 in Electronics after peer-review, and an electronic certificate.
