New Advances in Mining Technology, 2nd Edition
Topic Information
Dear Colleagues,
This Topic is a continuation of the previous successful Topic “New Advances in Mining Technology” (https://www.mdpi.com/topics/V5VQ4M3IHQ).
Under the goals of "dual carbon" and the requirements of ecological environmental protection, the upgrading of traditional mining models towards green, low-carbon, and sustainable directions has become an inevitable trend. As a core driver, green mine construction technology covers the green innovation of the entire process of mine planning, mining, waste treatment, and ecological restoration. This Special Issue will collect high-quality research results in related fields, including but not limited to the research and development of green mining technologies, the collaborative governance of mine pollutants, the high-value utilization of tailings resources, mine ecological restoration and reconstruction, and the development of intelligent monitoring and management systems for green mines. Meanwhile, successful cases and policy practice experiences of green mine construction in different regions are also welcome to be presented.
By bringing together the innovative explorations of scholars worldwide in the field of green mine construction technology, this Topic expects to build a platform for academic exchange and technology promotion, help solve the core contradiction between mining development and ecological protection, and contribute wisdom and strength to the realization of the sustainable development of the mining industry.
