Digital Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Environmental Innovation, and Sustainable Value Creation
This special issue belongs to the section "Economic and Business Aspects of Sustainability".
Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The rapid advancement of digital technologies has fundamentally transformed organizational governance, business innovation and sustainable development. At the same time, increasing expectations for corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental sustainability have encouraged organizations to adopt digital governance practices that enhance transparency, accountability, environmental innovation and long-term value creation.
This Special Issue, "Digital Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Environmental Innovation, and Sustainable Value Creation," aims to explore how digital governance, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, big data analytics and other emerging technologies contribute to responsible business practices, environmental innovation and sustainable value creation. The issue welcomes conceptual, empirical, methodological and policy-oriented studies covering topics such as digital governance, ESG and sustainability reporting, corporate governance, stakeholder engagement, sustainable business models, responsible innovation, public digital governance and sustainability measurement.
By integrating perspectives from sustainability, management, accounting, finance, information systems and public policy, this Special Issue seeks to bridge existing research streams and advance understanding of how digital governance and responsible organizational practices foster sustainable economic, environmental and social outcomes. It aims to provide new theoretical insights, empirical evidence and practical implications for supporting sustainable development and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
