Latest Research Updates on Laparoscopy

Special Issue Information

Minimally invasive surgery has revolutionized operative care, with laparoscopic techniques leading many of the most impactful advancements. Rapid progress in surgical instrumentation, operative strategies, and perioperative management continues to expand the indications, safety, and efficiency of laparoscopic procedures across surgical specialties.

This section of the Special Issue, “Latest Research in Laparoscopy,” focuses on innovative surgical approaches, operative technologies, and clinical outcomes that are shaping the next generation of laparoscopic surgery. We welcome submissions covering surgical innovation, robotic-assisted techniques, integration of artificial intelligence into operative workflows, perioperative optimization, training models, and comparative studies assessing clinical effectiveness.

We encourage the submission of original research articles, systematic reviews, and high-quality case series that advance evidence-based surgical practice and support improved patient-centered outcomes. This Special Issue aims to promote collaboration across surgical disciplines and disseminate groundbreaking research that continues to refine laparoscopy as a cornerstone of modern surgical care.
