Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to contribute to a Special Issue on the philosophy of space and time. Potential topics may include (but are not limited to) the topology and geometry of space and time, similarities and differences between space and time; implications of quantum mechanics and relativity theory; the nature of temporal and spatial experiences; the passage of time; differences between past, present, and future; theories of persistence; time travel; the nature of temporal entities; action at a distance; time and causation; and paradoxes of motion. We are especially interested in contributions that provide new perspectives on these issues rather than rehearse familiar arguments that are already well documented in the literature. We also welcome submissions that explore connections between the contemporary discussion of space and time and major figures or periods in the history of philosophy.
To contribute to this Special Issue, please submit an abstract by 1 May 2022. If the abstract is accepted by the Guest Editor, the completed paper would be due by 1 August 2022. Final papers will be sent out for blind peer review. Please do not hesitate to contact the Guest Editor by if you have any questions about this Special Issue.
We look forward to receiving your contributions.
Prof. Dr. Ulrich Meyer
Guest Editor
