Journal History

2016	The inaugural issue was released. Philosophies was published as a quarterly journal.
2018	Philosophies established the following section: - Virtues.
2020	Philosophies was indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)—Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1).
2021	Philosophies was indexed in Scopus—Elsevier, starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1).
2022	Philosophies adopted a bimonthly publication schedule. Philosophies received its first CiteScore (2021) of 0.9. The International Society for the Study of Information (IS4SI) became affiliated to Philosophies.
2023	Philosophies received its first Impact Factor (0.9). Philosophies received its CiteScore (2022) of 1.1, ranked 161/762 in "Philosophy" and 65/208 in “History & Philosophy of Science”.
