Nourishing the Mind: The Role of Nutrition in Mental Health

This special issue belongs to the section “Nutrition and Public Health“.

Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to submit your research to this Special Issue, which focuses on investigating the complex interplay between nutrition and mental health and exploring the impact of nutrients, dietary patterns, and nutritional status on cognitive function, mental health, and well-being. A growing amount of research has highlighted the critical link between nutrition and mental health in recent years, shedding light on the associations between nutrition and cognitive performance. This Special Issue aims to bridge gaps in current knowledge, relying on what has been established by earlier research, and to encourage a deeper dive into the various molecular pathways linking dietary components to mental health outcomes.

In this Special Issue, original research articles, reviews of the scientific literature, and clinical and experimental studies that not only present novel findings but also critically analyze existing results are welcome.
