Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a multifactorial endocrine and metabolic disorder affecting women of reproductive age, often associated with hormonal imbalance, insulin resistance, obesity, psychological and fertility problems. Nutrition and lifestyle interventions are key components of comprehensive PCOS management, influencing metabolic regulation, hormonal balance, and overall reproductive health.

This Special Issue aims to highlight the role of diet and nutrition in the prevention and treatment of PCOS, as well as the importance of multidisciplinary support, including obstetric and midwifery care, in shaping healthy behaviors among women affected by this condition. Healthcare professionals play a crucial role in providing individualized dietary education, promoting healthy lifestyles, and supporting behavioral changes that improve metabolic and reproductive outcomes.

We invite original research and review articles exploring dietary strategies, lifestyle modifications, and educational interventions in women with PCOS. Our goal is to enable a strong evidence base for nutrition-focused and person-centered care models that enhance the quality of life and reproductive health of women with PCOS.
