Geriatric Medicine

A section of Journal of Clinical Medicine (ISSN 2077-0383).

Section Information

Geriatric Medicine is a crucial branch of clinical medicine that focuses on the etiology, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of health conditions affecting older adults. As the global population ages, the demand for specialized clinical care for older adults continues to grow. The Geriatric Medicine section of the Journal of Clinical Medicine (JCM) will provide a platform for clinical research focused on the medical care and clinical management of older adult patients. This section will cover both general geriatric care as well as specialized treatments for age-related diseases and chronic conditions commonly seen in older adults.

The goal of this section is to facilitate the exchange of high-quality clinical research and evidence-based practices in geriatric care. We welcome researchers, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to submit original innovative research on clinical strategies and management of common and complex health issues faced by older adults. The section will emphasize practical, real-world applications of geriatric clinical research, focusing on improving quality of life and other health outcomes for older adult patients.
