Section Information
No longer is intensive care medicine purely a post operative setting. Nowadays, the Intensive Care Unit is for complex patients with several diseases who become critically ill and who are more prone to inflammation, metabolic diseases, severe infections, multiorgan dysfunction, etc. In this regard, the intensive care section of Journal of Clinical Medicine gathers clinical investigations from intensivists, pathophysiologists, and pediatricians from different areas and countries to acquire new perspectives in the vision and therapy of ICU disorders that intensivists deal with.
