We are pleased to announce that the winner of the JCM 2021 Young Investigator Award is Dr. Andrea Palermo.
Dr. Palermo is an Associate Professor of the Department of Endocrinology at Campus Bio-Medico University, Roma, Italy. Dr. Palermo’s research interests are in endocrinology, PTH replacement therapy for hypoparathyroidism, normocalcemic hyperparathyroidism, osteoporosis, and thyroid cancer. Dr. Palermo received his PhD in 2016 and has an outstanding publication record, comprising 95 publications in peer-reviewed international journals. Dr. Palermo’s Scopus Scientific Citations number is 1521, and his Hirsch index is 25. He is clearly a rising star in the field of clinic medicine. This is an outstanding achievement in today’s competitive environment. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Palermo for his outstanding achievements.
As the awardee, Dr. Palermo will receive an honorarium of 2000 CHF, an offer to publish a paper free of charge before 30 April 2023 in JCM after peer review, and an electronic certificate.
In addition, we also selected 5 nominees who will each be granted a 20% discount voucher for publications in JCM, valid before 30 April 2023.
