Integrated Approaches to Promote Mental Well-Being in Adolescents

Dear Colleagues,

Adolescence represents a critical stage of human development, characterised by biological and social transformations that profoundly impact mental health. In the current context, it is essential to develop

integrated approaches that transcend disciplinary boundaries in order to effectively promote the well-being of young people. Therefore, this Special Issue of Healthcare, entitled ‘Integrated Approaches to Promote Mental Well-Being in Adolescents,’ invites researchers to share original studies and reviews that explore innovative interventions.

We seek contributions that address adolescent mental health from a comprehensive perspective, considering the clinical, educational, and social factors that shape young people's psychological well-being. Topics of interest include, among others, early prevention, psychoeducational support, and the impact of community environments on mental health. By focusing on the key determinants and processes that influence psychological well-being during adolescence, this Special Issue aims to provide a broad perspective that can inform public policy and healthcare practice.

The deadline for manuscript submission is 30 November 2026.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. Healthcare is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
