Since 2011, the National Conference on Radar Earth Observation (formerly the Advanced Workshop on Imaging Radar Earth Observation) has been successfully held for five sessions. It has grown into the largest and most influential academic event in this field across China.
The 6th conference will take place in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, from 6 to 8 November 2026.
Currently, radar earth observation is facing new trends featuring high-dimensional data, diversified modes, and surging information throughput. New radar systems and processing technologies, SAR/InSAR algorithms, artificial intelligence, and radar earth observation applications are developing rapidly, while advanced missions are being promoted worldwide.
This conference aims to boost exchanges and cooperation on theories, technologies, and applications of radar earth observation. Centered on the advancement of multi-mode imaging radar driven by emerging technologies, it seeks to deepen relevant research on global environmental change, energy and resource security, and sustainable development of the Earth, and support the high-quality development of China’s radar earth observation technologies.
We sincerely invite experts, scholars, and industry practitioners at home and abroad in the field of radar earth observation to gather in Xuzhou. Let us share new findings, exchange fresh ideas, explore new paradigms, and discuss new developments and opportunities for the theories, technologies, and applications of radar earth observation.
We will be attending the 6th National Conference on Radar Earth Observation (REOS 2026), and we welcome researchers from different backgrounds to visit and share their latest ideas with us.
