Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce the launch of this Special Issue, where we aim to publish cutting-edge scientific research that reflects the current state of the art in the field of dental restorative materials.
Nowadays, every aspect of dentistry is intrinsically connected to the continuous emergence of new materials, and clinical progress is linked with the enhancement of instruments, equipment, and materials. The innovation of modern dental materials has certainly encouraged clinical dentistry towards achievements without precedent.
The introduction and development of new dental materials have involved all dental disciplines, such as restorative dentistry, endodontics, prosthesis, orthodontics, and implantology. Unfortunately, this increase in productivity has not always been supported by valid scientific research, and therefore there is an urgent need for further studies in order to determine solid evidence for the efficacy of recently developed dental materials.
Therefore, I am pleased to announce a call for submissions to this Special Issue. I invite the submission of high-quality research articles, clinical studies, review articles, and case reports related to the current development and future horizons of dental materials in all fields of dentistry. Your contributions will play a crucial role in advancing our understanding of these materials and their impact on the practice of dentistry.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Dentistry Journal is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2000 CHF (Swiss Francs).
