Best Paper Award
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce that the following paper was selected as the winner of the Biomimetics Best Paper Award 2018:
- A Parallel Modular Biomimetic Cilia Sorting Platform

- James G. H. Whiting, Richard Mayne and Andrew Adamatzky
The winner was selected based on their originality, contributions to and advancement of the field, as well as the quality of presentation and soundness of the scientific content.
All research and review articles submitted between 1 December 2017 and 31 July 2018 and accepted for publication by the end of November 2018 were eligible for consideration. The evaluation committee was presided by the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Josep Samitier, supported by the Editorial Board Members, who examined each paper and expressed their recommendations for the ranking of the Biomimetics Best Paper Award 2018.
In recognition of their accomplishment, the winner will receive 500 CHF and a certificate.
