Today, the dependence of modern societies on fossil fuels constitutes one of the main issues affecting pollution, global warming, cost of fuels, and geopolitical concerns. The development of alternative energy sources and storage technologies represents a great opportunity to address these concerns, in particular in the sectors of renewable sources and sustainable transportation.
On the one hand, this section aims to facilitate discussions on breakthroughs in materials, design, performance, and integration of supercapacitors for energy storage solutions. On the other hand, it aims to provide a platform for researchers and experts to explore the latest advancements and applications in supercapacitor technology. By focusing on this rapidly evolving topic, the section also seeks to support advancement in this field and to understand the future development of supercapacitors.
