Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

 

Owing to the enhanced thermal mechanism of nanomaterials, researchers are continuously exploring the novel features of nanofluids and claiming multidisciplinary applications in solar systems, engineering processes, energy devices and the automobile industry. Experimentally supported research proves that the thermal transportation phenomenon can be effectively enhanced via the interaction of different types of nanoparticles. It is commonly observed that the mathematical modelling of nanofluid problems results in complex nonlinear differential equations. Various numerical techniques have been implemented to compute the simulation of such problems.

The present Special Issue will focus on the applications of nanofluids in different thermal systems and engineering processes. The implementation of different numerical schemes is also of interest. Suitable topics for the current Special Issue include:

  1. Mathematical modeling of nanofluids;
  2. Heat and mass transfer;
  3. Metal nanoparticles;
  4. Intermolecular interactions;
  5. Special structures of nanocomposites;
  6. Thermal applications of nanofluids and hybrid nanomaterials;
  1. Heat exchangers;
  1. Materials for thermoelectric energy conversion;
  2. Theoretical and experimental investigations of nanofluids in thermal systems, engineering processes, extrusion systems, and industrial processes;
  3. Renewable energies and sustainable energies;
  4. Implementation of various numerical techniques for nanofluid problems.
