Novel Insights into Mechanisms and Management of Heart Disease in Small Animals
This special issue belongs to the section "Veterinary Clinical Studies".
Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Heart disease continues to be a major clinical challenge, significantly affecting the health and longevity of small animals. This Special Issue, ‘Novel Insights into Mechanisms and Management of Heart Disease in Small Animals’, is dedicated to showcasing the latest scientific and clinical advancements in veterinary cardiology.
The scope of this Special Issue is intentionally broad to encompass the full spectrum of cardiovascular care. We particularly welcome studies focused on diagnostic imaging—including echocardiography, computed tomography (CT), and other innovative modalities—as well as research on pathophysiological mechanisms, novel biomarkers, and therapeutic strategies. Our purpose is to bridge the gap between advanced diagnostic technology and practical clinical management, providing a platform for research that enhances early detection and treatment outcomes.
By integrating these diverse perspectives, this Special Issue will usefully supplement the existing literature with up-to-date findings that reflect the evolving nature of the field. We invite authors to submit original research, comprehensive reviews, and clinical case reports that will contribute to the global understanding of heart disease in dogs and cats.
