Cover Story: This study presents a novel computational approach for analyzing the internal flow behavior of TSC using SolidWorks Flow Simulation. Unlike specialized CFD tools, SolidWorks provides an accessible CAD-integrated environment that enables both design and detailed transient flow analysis. A 5/6 lobe model was developed to simulate the working phases, capturing fluid trajectories, pressure and temperature variations, leakage, and torque fluctuations, all visually represented with high clarity. Results reveal critical insights into leakage flows, reverse flow phenomena, and thermal effects, aligning well with studied literature. By combining accuracy with simplicity, this approach not only aids TSC design and optimization but also offers a powerful tool for education and engineering practice. View this paper
