2013	The inaugural issue was released. Computation was published as a quarterly journal. Computation established the following sections: Computational Biology; Computational Chemistry; Computational Engineering.
2015	Computation was indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)—Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1).
2017	Computation was indexed in Scopus (Elsevier), starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1).
2021	Computation adopted a monthly publication schedule.
2023	The year 2023 marked the 10th Anniversary of Computation.
2024	Computation established the following section: Computational Social Science.
