Dear Colleagues,
Driven by rapid advances in artificial intelligence and machine learning, intelligent systems have been extensively deployed in industrial automation, public services and autonomous applications. However, their black-box nature, complex internal mechanisms and susceptibility to uncertain real-world disturbances introduce substantial risks in practical operation. As such, systematic testing, rigorous verification and multidimensional evaluation are critical to guaranteeing the safety, reliability and robustness of intelligent systems before large-scale implementation.
This Topic aims to present cutting-edge research focusing on testing, verification and evaluation technologies for intelligent systems. It welcomes original studies and review articles covering algorithm validation, system functional testing, performance optimization, fault diagnosis and reliability assessment. We also encourage interdisciplinary works that integrate traditional software quality assurance theories with emerging intelligent computing methods to address current technical bottlenecks.
