Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The Special Issue "Exploring Drug Design and Delivery Systems: Bridging Pharmacology and Biological Function" aims to highlight the latest advancements and innovative approaches in the field of drug development and delivery. In an era where the demand for novel therapeutics is ever-increasing, the synthesis of innovative organic molecules plays a pivotal role in advancing medical science.
This collection of articles brings together cutting-edge research that addresses the complex interplay between pharmacology and biological systems, offering insights into how molecular design can influence therapeutic efficacy and safety. Emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration, the issue covers a wide range of topics including the design of novel drug molecules, advancements in nanotechnology for targeted delivery, and the development of biomaterials that enhance drug stability and bioavailability. It also explores the mechanisms of drug action at the molecular and cellular levels, providing a comprehensive understanding of how drugs interact with biological targets. By bridging the gap between pharmacological research and biological function, this Special Issue seeks to pave the way for more effective and personalized therapeutic strategies. Researchers, clinicians, and professionals in the pharmaceutical and biomedical fields will find this issue a valuable resource for staying abreast of the latest trends and innovations in drug design and delivery systems.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Pharmaceutics is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2900 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
