We are excited to invite you to explore and contribute to our Special Issue on “Mathematics Methods of Robotics and Intelligent Systems, 2nd Edition”. This Special Issue continues our mission to highlight the essential role of mathematical approaches in advancing robotics and intelligent systems.
In recent years, the integration of nonlinear and hybrid models, distributed and multi-agent systems and advanced optimization algorithms has significantly transformed the way robotic and intelligent systems are designed and deployed. From multi-sensor fusion techniques and filtering to swarm robotics and autonomous systems, mathematics provides the foundation for innovation and reliability in this rapidly evolving field.
This Special Issue aims to provide a comprehensive platform for researchers, academicians and practitioners to share their latest findings on mathematical modelling, algorithm development and intelligent system design. We particularly welcome contributions that explore motion planning, optimal path design, robotic perception, machine-learning algorithms, computational geometry, sensor fusion for navigation and image recognition technologies. By bringing together diverse perspectives, we hope to foster deeper collaboration and accelerate progress toward intelligent, autonomous and adaptive robotic systems. Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. Mathematics is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
