Advances in Landscape Perception Based on New Approaches & Technologies

Dear Colleagues,

The perception of landscape has been advanced by incorporating various technologies such as 3D scanning, physio-psychological measurements. The advancement is not limited to new technologies; new approaches such as point cloud data analysis and machine learning techniques all enhance the methodology of landscape perception studies.

This Special Issue will welcome manuscripts that link the following themes:

• Digital landscape technologies and perceptions；
• Psychological instruments and physiological studies for measuring landscape perception；
• The application of neurosciences in the landscape studies；
• Big data analysis of green space use and perception；
• Machine learning techniques to understand people’s perception, comfort and satisfaction in different landscape contexts.

Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Land is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
