FinTech, Blockchain, and Digital Finance
A section of Journal of Theoretical and Applied Electronic Commerce Research (ISSN 0718-1876).
Section Information
This section investigates the transformative impact of financial technologies on digital commerce and economic systems. We explore how blockchain, decentralized finance (DeFi), digital currencies, and payment innovations are redefining financial services, cross-border transactions, and economic inclusion. The section seeks cutting-edge research that examines both the technical foundations and socio-economic implications of these technologies, with emphasis on regulatory frameworks, security protocols, and their integration within broader e-commerce ecosystems. Consistent with JTAER's scope, we welcome contributions that address the ethical dimensions, governance challenges, and sustainability potential of next-generation financial technologies and their application in digital business.
