Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Advances in personalized medicine are transforming the landscape of modern healthcare, offering the potential to tailor diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation strategies to each individual patient. In the field of otolaryngology, where clinical presentations and therapeutic responses can vary widely among individuals, the promise of precision medicine is particularly compelling.

This Special Issue, "Personalized Diagnostics and Therapeutics in Otolaryngology", invites high-quality contributions that highlight innovative approaches to individualized patient care across all subspecialties within the field. From the integration of clinical genomics, molecular diagnostics, and artificial intelligence to the development of targeted therapies and personalized rehabilitation protocols, we seek to explore how cutting-edge science is reshaping patient outcomes in disorders such as head and neck cancer, tinnitus, vestibular dysfunction, and sensorineural hearing loss.

We welcome original research articles, clinical studies, comprehensive reviews, and perspectives that address both clinical applications and foundational research. Particular interest will be given to work that explores:

  • Stratified diagnostic models based on genetic, epigenetic, or biomarker profiles;
  • AI-driven tools for individualized diagnosis or treatment planning;
  • Personalized surgical protocols designed to optimize outcomes.

Through this Special Issue, we aim to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and promote research that advances the field toward truly personalized otolaryngologic care. We sincerely hope you will consider contributing your expertise to this timely and important collection.

We look forward to receiving your valuable submission.
