Aim

The Precision Oncology Section aims to advance research, innovation, and clinical practice that leverage individual molecular, clinical, and digital data to precisely diagnose, treat, and monitor cancer. This Section serves as an interdisciplinary platform for submissions that integrate genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, imaging, digital health, and AI-driven analytics to deliver personalized, data-guided oncology care. Its goal is to accelerate the translation of precision oncology insights into routine clinical decision-making, improving outcomes and quality of life for patients with cancer.

Scope

We welcome high-quality original research, reviews, and perspectives that address the following areas:

• Molecular and multi-omics profiling for cancer diagnosis, prognosis, and therapeutic decision-making.
• Predictive biomarkers and companion diagnostics that guide targeted and immunotherapeutic interventions.
• Artificial intelligence and machine learning applications in oncology for treatment optimization, image analysis, and patient stratification.
