Advances on Big Data Engineering

Dear Colleagues,

Information is proposing a Special Issue on the Fourth International Conference on Big Data Engineering (BDE 2022). This Special Issue intends to showcase a selection of carefully revised and extended papers to be presented at the BDE 2022, which will be held in Beijing, China, 26-28 May 2022.  BDE 2022 is an international forum for sharing knowledge and results in theory, methodology and new advances and research results in the fields of big data engineering. These research papers should reach us by 31 November 2022 at the latest.

Contributors will be invited to submit and present papers in a wide variety of areas from concepts to applications. The topics of selected papers will include the latest research results and perspectives for future work in big data engineering. Related submissions outside the specific scope of the conference are also welcome.

This Special Issue is dedicated to demonstrating recent advances in the field of big data engineering. Papers may report on original research, discuss methodological aspects, review the current state-of-the-art, or offer perspectives on future prospects.

These papers will be subjected to peer review and are published so as to widely disseminate new research results, including developments and applications.

The authors of papers submitted to BDE 2022 (http://www.bde.net/) will be given the opportunity to submit extended versions of their work in this Special Issue, provided they fulfil the specific journal requirements.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, big data infrastructure, big data management, big data search and mining, big data security, and privacy and trust and big data applications.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Information is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
