2 October 2025
International Day of Non-Violence, 2 October 2025

The International Day of Non-Violence, which takes place on 2 October to honor Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday, serves as a powerful reminder of the enduring relevance of his philosophy of peaceful resistance. This day encourages us to reaffirm our commitment to dialogue over division, compassion over conflict, and the belief that humanity’s greatest strength lies in building a culture of peace.
We invite you to explore our selected articles, Special Issues, and journals, which span topics such as gender-based, intimate partner, and obstetric violence, as well as sexual violence prevention. We hope that established journals at MDPI will provide a communication platform for innovative ideas regarding new challenges.
