Insights into Gastrointestinal Pathology
This special issue belongs to the section “Pathology and Molecular Diagnostics“.
Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
This Special Issue of Diagnostics, titled "Insights into Gastrointestinal Pathology," invites high-quality original research and review articles that advance the diagnostic and clinical management of gastrointestinal disorders, with a focus on hereditary and neoplastic diseases. Given the rising global burden of gastrointestinal cancers, particularly in young patients, this issue seeks to explore innovative diagnostic modalities, screening strategies, and surveillance protocols. We welcome contributions that address the challenges of early detection, risk stratification, and personalized management in conditions such as familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP), colorectal cancer, and upper GI polyposis. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the integration of genetic testing and counseling in routine endoscopy practice, novel biomarkers, advanced endoscopic imaging techniques, and population-based screening outcomes. The goal is to compile a collection of impactful research that translates pathological and molecular insights into improved diagnostic frameworks and patient care.
