Diagnosis and Management in COVID-19 Patient

Dear Colleagues,

Over the past three years, COVID-19, the disease caused by SARS-CoV-2, has resulted an estimated 5 million deaths and 257 million cases worldwide. COVID-19 has significantly affected people lives, directly and/or indirectly, due to a virulent pathogen that continues to evolve while we are still learning how to prevent and control the disease. 

The aim of this Special Issue will be focused on the latest approaches to the diagnostics and therapy of COVID-19 by summarizing the recent clinical and experimental advances on conventional therapies, such as antiviral drugs, vaccines, anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibody treatments, and on the diagnostics of laboratory using new biomarkers useful for both the diagnosis and prognosis of COVID-19. All of these different approaches are currently the subject of extensive research and clinical trials.

Manuscript Submission Information

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Diagnostics is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
