Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Cancer is a major health problem in pediatric ages, and its frequency and mortality rates are increasing worldwide, particularly in the Ibero-American region. Pediatric cancer presents significant challenges for this region, particularly Latin America, which struggles with limited resources to meet the health needs of its low- and middle-income populations.

This Special Issue aims to address the hematological and solid neoplasms, from the epidemiological to their treatment options and quality of life, passing through its molecular biology, and how personalized medicine is changing the survival of Ibero-American children. Emphasis will also be put on the challenges and initiatives currently in place to overcome these obstacles.
