We are pleased to announce the 3rd International Conference on Green Chemistry and Sustainable Coatings (GREENCHEMCO 2025), organized by the Dept. of Civil and Industrial Engineering in the University of Pisa.

The conference will cover a wide range of topics in green chemistry and materials science, including, but not limited to, the following:
- Green chemistry applied to renewable resources, extraction, functionalization, biomass valorisation;
- Sustainable and performing coatings, organic. and hybrids;
- Biodegradability, recyclability, sustainability, safety. and ethics;
- Microbiology, applied to materials biodegradability and materials modification;
- Packaging with enhanced barrier to gas and moisture, active packaging;
- Sustainable polymers in agriculture applications;
- Medical, healthcare, and cosmetics applications of sustainable materials.
The conference will be held concurrently with an Italian project—VIGNETI PLASTIC FREE — focused on minimizing plastic pollution in agriculture practices.
