Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Fertility preservation has become an essential consideration in the treatment of gynecological cancers, particularly as more women are diagnosed during their reproductive years. Advances in imaging, surgical techniques, and reproductive medicine now allow for oncologically safe, fertility-sparing options in selected cases of cervical, endometrial, and ovarian cancers.
This Special Issue highlights current progress in conservative management strategies, including novel surgical approaches, tailored chemotherapeutic regimens, new biomarkers, and evolving patient selection criteria. It also addresses long-term oncologic and reproductive outcomes.
By showcasing these developments, this issue aims to guide clinicians in integrating fertility preservation into cancer care, supporting informed decision-making and improved quality of life for young patients facing gynecologic malignancies.
