Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
As digital transformation matures, organisations shift from product‑centric digitalisation to real‑time digital ecosystems. Recent research shows that companies that automate processes and provide reliable real‑time data to their employees achieve greater revenue growth, innovation, and agility. In this vein, the second edition of Application of Information Systems aims to gather contributions that explore intelligent information systems, emphasising AIOps and generative AI—technologies that automate tasks, optimise resources. and support data‑based decisions. The edition also seeks papers on cybersecurity, zero‑trust situations, and risk management in cloud ecosystems, as well as strategies to address the skills gap through low‑code/no‑code platforms.
In addition to emerging technologies (i.e., AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, cloud and Big Data), sector‑specific research is valued (e.g., healthcare, fintech, supply chain, e‑learning, smart cities), along with studies on data governance and privacy, and digital sustainability approaches such as green IT and green digital products. The goal is to promote discussion on how these trends drive integrated customer experiences, organisational agility, and sustainable innovation.Additionally, we are interested in exploring the social impact of information technologies.
