Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Building on the success of the first volume, which featured eight insightful articles, this second volume of the Special Issue "Design and Synthesis of Novel Antibiotics" continues to address the critical challenge of antimicrobial resistance. As resistance to existing antibiotics has escalated, the need for innovative therapeutic solutions has become increasingly urgent.

This volume aims to showcase cutting-edge research in the development of novel antibiotics, focusing on innovative design strategies, synthesis methods, and the evaluation of the efficacy and safety of new compounds. We invite contributions that highlight structural advancements, biological activity assessments, and cytotoxicity studies, furthering our collective efforts to combat antimicrobial resistance.
