February 2018 - 58 articles

Cover Story: In this mini-review (Crystals 2018, 8, 83), Gu, Kirillov and co-workers discuss the selected examples of metal–-organic frameworks (MOFs) constructed, via hydrothermal synthesis, from different carboxylic acids with phenyl-pyridine cores. The cover picture shows a schematic representation of an abstract 3D MOF structure assembled from such carboxylic acid linkers. The review aims to motivate further research on exploring these types of carboxylic acids in crystal engineering. View this paper
