Cover Story: Chronic neck pain and lower back pain is a common problem worldwide, with a high lifetime prevalence; it is not only a personal burden, but also a social and financial one.
In this pilot study, we assessed the effect of weekly electrotherapy on the sensation of pain and also on the range of spinal motion in patients with chronic back pain and lower back pain. Our results suggest that weekly electrotherapy has a favourable effect on lumbar mobility, whereas the sensation of pain remained unchanged. View this paper
