Section Information
The field of ophthalmology, encompassing both comprehensive ophthalmologic practice sand the myriad of subspecialty arenas, demands a broad clinical knowledge base as well as a repertoire of clinical skills to successfully diagnose and treat conditions of the eye and ocular adnexa. As such, the Ophthalmology Section of Medicina was created to (1) provide a forum for the dissemination of novel clinical findings by providing curated, peer-reviewed articles relevant to the general ophthalmic practitioner as well as the subspecialist, and (2) contribute to the advancement of quality patient care in ophthalmology.
