Travel Award

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Evaluation Committee, we are pleased to announce the winner of the 2018 Vision Travel Award.

The Award has been granted to:

Dr. Rachel Denison, a neuroscientist and postdoctoral researcher from New York University, NY, USA, who is studying the role of attention in visual experience. She uses a combination of human fMRI, MEG, psychophysics, and computation in her research work. She will present her work “Voluntary Temporal Attention Affects the Rate and Timing of Microsaccades” at the forthcoming Vision Sciences Society Annual Meeting 2018. The Award consists of 500 Swiss Francs to support her attendance at this conference. The editors received a large number of high-quality applications but the budget allowed to award only one candidate. We would like to thank all the participants for submitting their applications on such diverse and fascinating research topics.

Editor-in-Chief,
Andrew J Parker
